Matt Lombardi is a partner in the Forensic and Financial Consulting Services Group at Hemming Morse. He has more than 16 years of accounting experience in consulting, litigation and auditing services.

Matt has worked on complex matters with clients involving securities claims, economic damages, stakeholder disputes, professional liability claims, accounting consultations and regulatory claims. His experience spans across multiple industries, including banking and other financial services, high technology, software, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail and telecommunications. He has performed accounting and auditing analyses for large and small companies in both the public and private sector and has provided consulting services for accounting experts for various federal agencies (e.g., FDIC, SEC and PCAOB).

Prior to joining Hemming Morse, Matt worked with a “Big Four” CPA firm as a senior manager, auditing public and private companies. His industry involvements include serving as a member of the Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards State Committee for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). Matt also serves as an advisory board member to Golden Gate University’s Forensic Accounting Program and is an adjunct professor instructing in financial forensics.
