Brian Zacharias is a principal in the Forensic and Financial Consulting Services Group at Hemming Morse. For more than seventeen years, Brian’s experience has spanned across multiple industries, including technology, life science and biotechnology, manufacturing, shipping, retail, telecommunications, professional services and agriculture.
Brian has advised clients on a diverse range of complex matters involving valuation issues, financial modeling, merger and acquisition, bankruptcy and financial turnaround and litigation. His valuation expertise has focused on business valuation, intellectual property, merger and acquisition and other intangible assets and options and other derivatives. Brian has led due diligence engagements that have assisted management with determining strategic direction and negotiating key deal terms, as well as negotiating with creditors to recapitalize companies. He has assisted clients on civil litigation issues including economic damages, breach of contract, fraud and business and intellectual property disputes.
As a dedicated member of the valuation community, Brian co-founded and is the current chair of the Fair Value Exchange, a group focused on thought leadership for the emerging leaders within the valuation industry. He has authored several articles and presented numerous times on valuation topics and has lectured at Santa Clara University.
