Matt Lombardi is a Director in the Litigation and Forensic Consulting Services Group in the San Francisco office of Hemming Morse, Inc. As a Certified Public Accountant, he has more than 12 years of experience in consulting, litigation and auditing services. Matt has worked on complex cases with clients involving corporate investigations. These matters include assistance in accounting consultations, securities fraud, economic damages, professional liability and Securities and Exchange Commission-related inquiries. His cases have involved financial services, high technology, retail and telecommunication entities. Prior to joining HMI, Matt worked with a “Big Four” CPA firm as a senior manager, working with public and private companies in the high-technology, biotechnology and manufacturing industries. He is a member of the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs, in which he serves as the San Francisco Chair of the Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee. Matt also serves as an advisory board member to Golden Gate University’s Forensic Accounting Program and volunteers there as an adjunct professor instructing in financial forensics. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Santa Clara University..
