Bruce Disney is a Director in the San Francisco office of Hemming Morse, Inc. In this role, he manages the Compliance Audit Program for HMI’s Employee Benefit Plans Audit Group. His responsibilities include developing procedures for auditing employer contributions to a variety of employee benefit plans, such as health and welfare, insurance, pension, vacation and legal services. With more than 24 years of experience, Bruce has worked with some of the Bay Area's largest employee benefit plans as well as with many of California's most reputable trust fund administrators. He has consulted frequently with senior administrators and in-house auditors on such matters as delinquency, collection procedures, and statistical sampling. Before joining HMI, Bruce worked for Operating Engineers Trust Fund Administrators in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for supervising the firm's auditors and investigators in the execution of contract analysis and compliance audits. He attended St. Kentigerns College and Auckland University in New Zealand and studied economics and statistics at the Auckland Technical Institute. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
