John Lam is a Manager in the Litigation and Forensic Consulting Group in the San Francisco office of Hemming Morse, Inc., where he is both HMI’s computer forensic specialist and manager of the Information Technology Department. He has more than ten years of experience in computer technology and more than five years of experience in the field of computer forensics. John has applied his computer forensic skills in support of attorneys and clients in a wide variety of cases involving contractual disputes, wrongful terminations and fraud investigations. These cases involved the search and recovery of data files, emails, images and documents that were deleted or hidden on hard drives and other electronic media. John has lectured on the topic of computer forensics to organizations including the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Litigation Steering Committee. He is an Encase-Certified Examiner (ECE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of the High-Tech Crime and Investigations Association.
