Michael J. McPartlan is a Certified Public Accountant and Manager in the Litigation and Forensic Consulting Services group in the San Francisco office of Hemming Morse, Inc. Michael became Certified in Financial Forensics in July 2008. He has worked on numerous high profile cases in the areas of securities litigation and accountants’ professional liability involving a wide range of industries. Michael has also performed analysis in the areas of Lost Wages and Income.
Prior to joining the Litigation Services Group, Michael worked as a Financial Auditor for HMI’s Employee Benefit Plan Group for over 2 years. Before joining HMI, Michael worked for a local CPA firm and a major advertising agency.
Michael is also a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, for which he has been a frequent speaker, American Institute of the Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has also been a contributing writer for the California CPA, the state CPA society’s monthly publication. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
