Nathan Fan is a Manager in the Litigation and Forensic Consulting Services Group in the Los Angeles office of Hemming Morse, Inc. and has over seven years of experience in litigation consulting. Nathan's litigation experiences include intellectual property disputes, royalty audits and compliance programs, stock option backdating investigations, securities litigation, business interruption claims, and accounting malpractice and fraud examinations.
He has performed complex studies involving lost profit and reasonably royalty calculations, price erosion, incremental profit analysis, evaluation of forecasts, product line profitability, and fixed variable cost analysis.
Prior to joining HMI, Nathan was a director in the forensic and litigation practice of a consulting firm in Los Angeles and New York, as well as a consultant in the financial advisory services practice of a "Big Four" CPA firm in San Francisco. Nathan is a Certified Fraud Examiner as well as a member of the Licensing Executive Society and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Nathan received his B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
